Join the Clubs This July

First, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! We hope you all have a wonderful Father’s Day today. We’ll be doing a little beach reading and movie watching – a perfect (and well-deserved) day of rest for the dads.

We’re closed today as we have been each Sunday since the covid outbreak. But we’re happy to announce that beginning next week we’ll be back to being open on Sundays again (Noon – 5 pm).

NOTE: We’re going to stick to the 10 am – 6 pm closing time on Monday through Saturday. Should you need to visit outside regular hours we are happy to schedule a by-appointment-only visit.

Upcoming Virtual Events

We’re still in our “summer break” until a full new schedule of virtual events begin in July, so visit our EVENTS PAGE and begin marking your calendars for those.

Welcome to the Club(s)!

Beginning in July we’ll be back with our regularly scheduled book clubs and our weekly Monday night writer’s group.

In consideration of your safety, we’ll keep a list of who’s attending and that attendance WILL be limited to eight participants per event, which the max we can safely social distance you in our new in-store configuration. In addition:

Club events will begin at 6:30 after regular business hours, ensuring only club members will be in attendance.
For those who would prefer to engage from a distance, we’ll have a virtual option available so you can join in via Facebook live streaming. Events will stream on
Weather permitting, we can grab chairs and move our chats out to the square.

For July, we’ll stick to the book choices we never got to discuss last time around, with the exception of the YA Club, because we ALL want to talk about The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes! (We have in-store copies available with the 10% bookclub discount.)
