Happy Shopping Weekend!

“A book is arguably the perfect gift: it’s personal, provides hours of screen-free entertainment, and it’s easy to wrap. A book doesn’t require you to know the dress/ring/shoe size of the recipient, nor remember to separately purchase an incredibly specific charging cable. And when you buy a book from your neighborhood independent bookstore, you give yourself a gift: the gift of a vibrant local literary scene.”

– The Tyee, Canada

Now that we’re all plumped up from that Thanksgiving feast, it’s time to work off the pumpkin pie with a walk about town and shopping the local scene. I’m looking forward to hitting some of the shops myself, so we’ll see you on Main Street! Come kick off your holiday gift-giving season with us and warm up your weekend with plenty of community book joy.

What to Look Forward to this Weekend:

Today is Black Friday and tomorrow is Small Business Saturday. Our offerings include:

  • 10% off any in-store items (entire purchase) or 20% off a single item
  • Free brownie with purchase (individually wrapped and fresh baked from our friends at Eva’s On Main!)
  • Free gift-wrapping
  • Free refreshments on Saturday!
