It was a Happy May Day here – As of May 1st we began letting folks (just one or two at a time) back in the store, and we welcomed back booksellers Hannah Rose and Emma. With masks and gloves and a new plexiglass “sneeze shield” at the front counter, we can safely serve you and provide social distance. Yay!
We still ask that customers entering the store wear face coverings; our staff is providing this courtesy and protection to you; we want the same for them! We’re still doing contact-free and home delivery for those continuing to read in place. But all warnings aside, it was great to see folks out and about at the farmers market and in the square again. Stay Summerville Strong!

If you’ve never picked one up, the Indie Next List is a monthly list of the best new books chosen by us and other independent booksellers across the country.
