Wow, what a weekend! We can’t thank you enough for making Indie Bookstore Day 2025 the best we’ve ever had at Main Street Reads. The energy, the smiles, the browsing, the celebrating — it was all unforgettable because of YOU!
If you couldn’t make it out on Saturday (we missed you!), don’t worry — you still have plenty to look forward to! We made some BIG announcements that you’ll want to catch up on:

AND… there’s more happening RIGHT NOW:
TODAY – Special Book Signing with Mark Epstein!

Come on down to Main Street Reads and meet Mark Epstein, author of the brand-new baseball memoir, Cape Dreams! If you’re a baseball fan — or just love a great underdog story — this is one you won’t want to miss.
Mark will be signing books, chatting with readers, and sharing behind-the-scenes stories. Don’t miss your chance to grab a signed copy (makes a GREAT Father’s Day gift, too)! More info HERE – see you soon!
TUESDAY – Books & Banter Book Club Night!

Looking for great conversation and community? Join us Tuesday evening for our next Books & Banter Fiction Book Club Pick:
Broken Country offers a riveting tale of love, betrayal, and buried secrets coming to light in a small, insular village — a perfect story for a cozy evening of lively discussion. You bring the conversation, and we’ll provide the treats!
And as always, Main Street Writes meets Monday at 6:30 via Zoom, and our Stories on the Square children’s story time happens Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
PLUS – Next Sunday we have an amazing “Just in Time for Mother’s Day” book signing, followed by our Teacher Appreciation Night to kick off Teacher Appreciation Week!
Mark your calendars and stay tuned — summer at Main Street Reads is just getting started. We can’t wait to read, celebrate, and share more literary adventures with you.
