Welcome to April!

After a fast and furious Flowertown Festival weekend and we can’t begin to tell you how much FUN we’ve had with y’all and with our signing authors Friday and Saturday. Our thanks to Bob Spearman, Linda Lovely, Kerry Peresta and Stuart Bennett, who all helped make this year’s festival our best ever!

But now, we’re back to looking ahead to the horizon and all that’s headed this way. This month is National Poetry Month, and Easter happens in the middle of the month (check out our Easter Egg “Not a Hunt” happening April 15th, the day before Easter.

April is also the month each year when indie bookstores like ours celebrate national Independent Bookstore Day. That takes place the last Saturday of the month (April 30th) and we have an incredible lineup of authors speaking and signing in our Book Fair on the Square that day, so mark those calendars!

Get a look at all the fun headed your way, and below that, our book picks for this week’s State by State list as we travel through Indiana. The highway through Indiana may be boring, but the books rock!

See you on Main Street…
