Spooky Month! And, Third Thursday is Baaaaack…

Beverly Willett, author of Disassembly Required

Ah, there’s just something about October… cooler weather, Scarecrows on the Square, fall book releases, our first “Third Thursday” block party since pre-pandemic, and of course HALLOWEEN!

We had a fabulous time yesterday morning with author Beverly Willett, who drove in from Savannah for a live booksigning in the store. If you didn’t make it by, we’ve kept a few signed copies of her amazing book, Disassembly Required, at the store. The message is one of how to get up and get going despite setbacks… certainly resonates in the now normal…

Third Thursday… Been a Long Time

Local singer/songwriter/guitarist Mike Kaltofen will join us for some tunes this Thursday, October 15th as we stay open late for the return of Summerville’s popular and much missed Third Thursday!

Stop on by, we’ll have a few flash sales happening and maybe a treat or two…

Happy Halloween… Safely

As you may have seen at the store, our front feature table is covered with 50% off Halloween titles all month long. On Halloween Saturday, the –”big day” – we’ll be distributing treats to young readers (pre-packaged, gloves and all) and we encourage you to shop the Halloween titles, most under $5. Oh, and don’t mind the spiders: Our singing bookseller Hannah Rose might have gotten a little carried away…

And now, without further ado, the remaining October lineup, full of book signings, story time, book clubs and more!
