Today’s the day! We’re all geared up, chaired up and booked up for a lovely day in downtown Summerville! There’s music on the square, booths and food trucks, and of course the CHRISTMAS PARADE at 2 p.m.!
We have 30+ chairs set up out front, plus some little chairs for the “littles”… and we’ll be serving up some hot cocoa, chocolate cookies and candy canes, so come on down to Main Street and enjoy your local community celebrating our #smalltowncharm !!!
Special Order Deadline TOMORROW!
If you’re wanting a special order for something NOT already in the store, tomorrow, MONDAY, is the last day we can guarantee it’ll arrive by December 24th.
That said, we preordered tons of new books this year so our in-store selection is bigger and better than ever, and (eek) several hundred more arriving this week, including a big shipment of calendars and more half-price classics.
Honestly, we probably have enough books to serve up to TWO Summervilles, but holiday delivery being what it is, we’re doing our best to make it YOUR best 🙂
Up Next
Yep, still a TON to warm you up through this brisk holiday season! BOTH our upcoming book clubs will be the last of 2023 and a chance to share some holiday cheer. Plus, we still have one special book signing left (Saturday) and Third Thursday this week!
Yep, we’ll surely see you on Main Street…
TODAY!
Thriller/Horror Mashup: Save the Date!
Mark your calendars for another incredible author mashup at the James F. Dean theatre, coming February 25th, 2023. This event will feature two of our favorite authors, Stacy Willingham of A Flicker in the Dark fame and Grady Hendrix of The Southern Bookclub’s Guide to Slaying Vampires and The Final Girl Support Group, all of which have been book club picks…
Both authors have new books releasing in January – your ticket will include one each of BOTH books that you can pick up when they release in January, and have ’em to get personally signed when the authors join us for a rollicking afternoon of fun, food and fabulous conversation.
Tickets go on sale TONIGHT – we’ll post all the links and details. Your ticket purchase will benefit both the Flowertown Players and the Timrod Library again, as we all do our part to support the art of storytelling in our incredible community!
