Here comes the last week of February, and just around the corner, our birthday celebration – Main Street Reads turns three years old on March 1st! We’re planning a MAJOR five days of fun to celebrate our third anniversary so here’s a sneak peek!
Tuesday, March 1st, is our actual birthday – which happens to coincide with Mardis Gras this year, so we’ll have treats all day long at the store AND we’ll launch our Beads and Reads Challenge.
From Tuesday through Saturday, EACH ITEM purchased (book, candle, socks, cards, pencils, etc.) will earn you one strand of Mardis Gras beads. Why is this important?
Because on SATURDAY March 5th, from 3-5 p.m. we’ll host our official birthday bash (no one can properly party on a Tuesday, eh?!) and at 4 p.m. that day, we’ll award a $100 gift certificate to the reader who’s collected the most beads, PLUS four $25 gift certificates for the runners-up – $200 total.
In addition to the treats and giveaways all week long, every reader who pre-registers for Saturday’s party (the party is FREE but RSVPs help us know how much food to order) will get a Mardi Gras styled mask, enjoy storewide discounts, free treats and more!
