Sunday Wrap-Up: Thanks for an AMazing Indie Bookstore Day!

What a weekend this has already been, and still a day to go!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, shopped small, supported local, and celebrated Indie Bookstore Day with us at Main Street Reads. From the moment the doors opened, the energy was exactly what we love most about this community—bookish, joyful, and just a little bit magical.

A special shoutout to Robert Gwaltney, who made Saturday unforgettable. We had fun diving into his wild Southern Gothic novel Sing Down the Moon. If you missed it, don’t worry… we made sure to hold some signed copies in the shop (for now 👀).

And for all of you participating in the Lowcountry Book Crawl—today is your last chance to get those passports stamped.

To everyone who’s been crawling, exploring, and championing indie bookstores this weekend: yay y’all and thank you!
