Join your neighbors from 11 AM to 6 PM in Hutchinson Square for the Summerville Italian Feast! Experience authentic Italian cuisine along with a variety of delicious foods from local vendors. It’s a perfect way to savor flavors and enjoy the lively atmosphere in the heart of downtown Summerville. Don’t forget to stop by Main Street Reads for some bookish treats!
Monday, October 14: Main Street Writes Monday
Unleash your inner writer at our regular Monday evening writers’ group from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Zoom. This growing community gathers to share their works, provide feedback, and inspire one another. Whether you’re a seasoned author or just starting out, you’ll find support and camaraderie here!
Tuesday, October 15: Peaceful Mornings: Quiet Reading Club
Start your day with peace and reflection at our Quiet Reading Club from 7:45 AM to 9:45 AM. Sign up and join us for a serene morning of reading in comfy chairs, surrounded by fellow book lovers. It’s a perfect way to unwind and enjoy your favorite stories.
Tuesday, October 15: October Kiss and Tell Romance Book Club
Join us at 6:30 PM for our October Kiss and Tell Romance Book Club featuring “Daydream.” Our book clubs are free and open to everyone! We’ll provide the treats; you bring the scintillating conversation and enthusiasm for romance!
Wednesday, October 16: Wednesday Stories on the Square
Every Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM, kids are invited to our “Stories on the Square.” This delightful storytime adventure encourages young imaginations to flourish, with engaging tales and fun activities for children of all ages.
Thursday, October 17: Third Thursday Book Signing – Celebrate Third Thursday with us from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM! Join the party in downtown Summerville and stop by Main Street Reads to get your copy of “Girl From the Red Rose Motel” signed by the author. It’s a great opportunity to meet neighbors and fellow book lovers!
