Spring is officially in the air in Summerville, which means one thing: Flowertown Festival season is here! Between blooming azaleas, community celebrations, and a full calendar of literary fun, the next couple of weeks at Main Street Reads are shaping up to be some of our favorites of the year.
Here’s what’s happening soon:
Find Us at the Dream Spring Market – March 28
We’re excited to be part of the Summerville Dream Spring Market at the entrance to the Flowertown Festival (where the farmer’s market happens) on Saturday, March 28 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Stop by the Main Street Reads tent throughout the day for:
- 📚 Author signings
- 🎨 Face painting for kids
- 📖 A curated selection of signed reads and cool local offerings to take home after strolling the festival
It’s the perfect way to kick off a day wandering through Flowertown Festival with a book in hand. Don’t want to carry purchases with you? No worries, we’ll store ’em ’til you’re done – both at the tent and for your purchases at Main Street Reads all weekend long!
Pages & Petals Bookmark Making – March 29 Save the Date!
As the Flowertown Festival wraps up, we’re celebrating with a creative afternoon back at the store.
Join us to make your own handmade bookmark—a simple, beautiful craft inspired by the blooms and colors of the festival weekend. It’s a relaxed activity and a perfect way to mark the end of a wonderful Flowertown celebration.
Because what pairs better with spring flowers than a new bookmark and your next great read? SAVE THE DATE! The link to grab your spot is coming this week – watch your socials – space will be limited.
