So… this is the first time we’ve “chatted” since Sunday’s Southern Lit Spectacular and I just gotta’ say – what an incredible day, y’all! I was bursting with pride in our authors, our staff, our oh-so-well-read readers, our local theatre… It really was the perfect confluence of community. We’re already working on the next one, but it’ll be in 2023… Stay tuned!!!
Meanwhile, I’m writing you from New Orleans where fellow bookseller Emma June Wood and I are visiting other bookstores and with other booksellers, learning more about how they each serve their communities. We look forward to our return and to implementing some of their amazing ideas.
While we’re gone, Eleanor and Makayla are getting us all ready-set for this weekend’s book signing with author and former FBI agent Dana Ridenour, happening the same day as Summerville’s Downtown Sidewalk Sale.
