It’s been a grand week at Main Street Reads, beginning with our School Spirit Week on May 1-5 for our friends at Spann Elementary School and on through Teacher Appreciation Week, and lots of folks getting ready for Patti Callahan Henry’s appearance at the Timrod Library today! PLUS, we’ve had several young readers in for photos for prom (and y’all look amazing!).
We’ll have books at the Timrod and look forward to seeing you there, and at the store, of course. In the meantime, mark those calendars for all the fabulous bookish May days ahead, including Mother’s Day a week from today, two great book club events, and Summerville’s monthly block party on Third Thursday.
