Third Thursday: Booksigning with Millie West!

On Third Thursday in October we’ll be welcoming author, aviator (she’s a licensed pilot!) and adventurer Millie West! Millie’s love of adventure has taken her between the clouds and into the woods. She and her husband are avid hunters and hikers.
Millie is a collector of regional art—especially from Charleston, SC and the low-country. The covers of EACH of her novels feature renowned Charleston artist, Rick Reinert. This will be your chance to get your hands on a signed copy of Millie’s work!
A South Carolina history buff, Millie has spent countless hours exploring the rich historical vestiges of her home state. Her love of the fascinating, complex, and compelling history of the South is expressed in her writing. She resides with her family near Columbia, South Carolina.
Setting the festive mood on guitar, Summerville’s own Michael Kaltofen, a regularly featured performer at the Summerville Porch Jams! (Little known bit of trivia – Michael’s wife, artist Karin Kaltofen, designed the Main Street Reads logo as well as our “Believe in Your Shelf” t-shirts emblems!
