Phew! It’s been a whirlwind of events around here since Indie Bookstore Day. Yesterday we kicked off May with two great events – C. Hope Clark at Main Street Reads and Dwight McInvaill, Caroline Palmer and Anne Tinker at the gorgeous Public Works Arts Center around the corner.
As always, we sat these amazing authors down to sign a few extra copies for those who might’ve missed the fun. Grab yours this week – signed books make the perfect Mother’s Day gift after all – calorie-free and they won’t wilt in a week!
CONGRATS Teacher of the Week:
We’re proud that there are several teachers we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks for our Teacher of the Week program. This week we’re honoring Ms. Jenn Santmyer from Alston Middle School, nominated by fellow teacher Claire Dixon!
Said Claire in her nomination, “Mrs. Santmyer teaches Read180 at AMS. She works hard to make reading exciting and engaging to students who most need it. Mrs. Santmyer always has a smile and a kind work for students and staff at AMS.”
From all of us at Main Street Reads, THANK YOU for everything you do!
