Okay so this feels like it might be the longest post ever (blame the headline) but I’ll try and keep it short and sweet. Of NOTE this week:
- February Thrill in the ‘Ville book club on Tuesday 6:30 pm – We’re chatting about The Storm by Rachel Hawkins – join us!
- Galentine’s Stroll on Thursday from 4:30 – 8 pm – Like Third Thursday, downtown shops will be open late. But even better, there’ll be treats, gifts and discounts!
- Wuthering Heights release party on Friday 2:30 pm – We’re sold out BUT if you put your name on the list in-store, we can let you know if someone backs out! (Again, ONLY in-store – we’ve taken the online link down to not disappoint anyone)
- Valentine’s Day Blind Date with a Book on Saturday – While supplies last! You know how it works – buy a book, get a plain brown wrapped book free!
- And… drum roll please — another BIG Valentine’s Day special Saturday at 5:30 pm: Sharp skates. Short tempers. Major chemistry. And special treats for YOU!
Hockey Romance Night is taking over Valentine’s Day, and the Stingrays are delivering all the tropes we secretly (or not so secretly) love: fierce rivalries, adrenaline-fueled intensity, and just enough drama to make sparks fly.

So here’s your chance — Spend Valentine’s Day with your favorite book lovers at the rink! On Saturday, February 14th, head to the North Charleston Coliseum to cheer on the Stingrays together—because community nights are the best kind of dates. Be there at 5:30 (read on for WHY) – Puck drops at 6:05 PM.
Before the game, THE STINGRAYS have invited us to gather with them in the South Club Room (outside Sections 120/122) for a cozy, social Book Swap. Bring a book you would like to trade (if you wish!)
We’ll be surrounded by local bookstores, book clubs, and new friends—plus they’re doing a 5:30 PM raffle for a chance to head down to the Pregame Fan Tunnel and welcome the players onto the ice together!
Grab your tix and we’ll see you at the game! Here’s the link the Charleston Stingrays provided us just for you! https://www.gofevo.com/event/214stingrays5
Summerville Book Festival 2026!
And OF COURSE no February post would be complete without a mention of GET YOUR TICKETS FOR BOOKFEST!
