Our first ever poetry reading and signing at Main Street Reads will feature Jackie Morfesis and her newly released Mermaid Crossing: Mythic Poetry.
Fresh off a performance at Piccolo Spoleto, Jackie Morfesis is an author, artist, and advocate. Mermaid Crossing speaks to her mythic journey through the eyes of a mermaid, filled with love, betrayal, transformation, and healing. Jackie is dedicated to the creative process as a vehicle for healing and community empowerment.
Mermaid Crossing is a deep dive into a mythic world filled with adventure, love, betrayal, heartache, transformation, and healing, one that explores the powerful intersection between dreams and reality, and takes readers on a journey that speaks to their soul.
Jackie will be with us from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and will do a reading at 11, followed by open discussion – don’t miss this very special event!
