Indie Bookstore Day 2023: Fair on the Square

Get ready to celebrate Indie Bookstore Day 2023 in style at Main Street Reads! This year marks the 10th anniversary of the national event, celebrated by fine bookstores from coast to coast, and we’re pulling out all the stops with our annual Book Fair on the Square.

Join us for a day of fun, books, and community as we celebrate the love of independent bookstores. Our Book Fair on the Square will feature sales on favorite books, as well as exclusive merchandise available ONLY on Indie Bookstore day, gifts for kids attending, and raffle items all day long.

But that’s not all! We’ll also be hosting author talks throughout the day, so you can meet and chat with some of your favorite writers. From bestselling novelists to up-and-coming indie authors, we’ve got a great lineup of speakers and panelists who will be sharing their insights and experiences with us. Our kid-focused books will be featured before noon, and adult titles in the afternoon. Grab some goodies at the farmers market and head on over to join us!

And of course, what would a Book Fair on the Square be without some great music? We’ve got Mike Kaltofen (fresh off his performance for Public Works during Flowertown Festival) lined up to provide the perfect soundtrack to your day of book browsing and community celebration.
