Booksigning: Meet Author Cheryl Oliver

On Saturday, December 28th, we’re pleased to host local author Cheryl Oliver, with the release of her latest book, My Best Friend is Gone, about her daughter Jennifer, killed by a drunk driver in 2017. Cheryl wants to help others through their grieving process, especially during the Holiday season.

A Virginia native, Cheryl Oliver grew up near Washington D.C.Aside from “My Best Friend is Gone” biography about her daughter, Oliver has written 7 historical non-fiction books. A graduate of Marymount University, she is a member of the National Genealogical Association, DAR, UDC, in process with Colonial Dames, and was invited to join the Descendants of Jamestown, VA. She lives in Summerville, SC, enjoys reading and tending to her beautiful garden flowers. She is currently working on a book about all the men behind the designing, building, training, and sailing of the H. L. Hunley.
