Plot Twist Project: Come Junk Journal with Us!

Get creative, get messy, and give new life to old things at our next Plot Twist Project! Join us for a relaxed, inspiration-filled evening of junk journaling—a creative practice where scraps, textures, and found materials come together to tell your story.
Led by two of our Fab Fantasy book club members, Lisa & Tammy, you’ll get a peek at their junk journals for inspiration before diving into your own creation. (See examples below!)
Pick a theme and make it yours—whether it’s:
- Gardening
- Travel
- Favorite books
- Family moments
- Memories, moods, “inspired by” or “just because”
The sky is truly the limit.
And of course… 🍷 wine & treats included—because creativity pairs well with both.
💲 Cost: $10.75 and Limited to 15 participants (advance registration required HERE! ✨ Come create something uniquely yours—with a little help from fellow book lovers.
Things We’ll Have On Hand
- Journals for purchase (1/2 price at $10 ea. or bring your own!)
- Stickers for purchase (1/2 price from us or bring your own!)
- Crafting, acid-free glue sticks and double-sided tape
- Scissors and Paper Cutters
- Colored pencils, markers, and construction paper
- Magazines (we’ll have several but feel free to bring yours)
- A treasure trove of “junk”—magazines, pressed flowers, ribbons, letter stickers & more
Optional: Things to Bring!
- Journal of your own (or grab one from us)
- Old magazines, newspapers, pamphlets, greeting cards (junk journaling boils down to repurposing existing items into a new creative thing!)
- Any personal photos/items you want to include
- Ribbons, lace, broken jewelry pieces, any other items you may have lying around that might be creatively repurposed
