Life is comprised of little moments creating a trajectory of things you never expected. And for 17-year-old Tatum Rothchild, she would soon discover that. With an unplanned teenage pregnancy and parents threatening to take away her daughter, Tatum decides the only thing she can do is run away.

But things take a surprising turn when help comes from the last person she ever expected to see again-her best friend’s older half-brother, Chase. He needs money and she needs a getaway car. They strike a deal and embark on a journey of self-discovery and what life is like on the road. But the more nights they spend together, the more Tatum doesn’t want to let him go. Savannah Reed was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina and grew up spending time at the beach, horseback riding, and shopping down on King Street. She attended an arts school for dance in Charleston and went on to earn a BA in English from Clemson University. She currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee with her husband and their Catahoula Leopard Dog, Blue Belle. When she’s not going on hikes in the mountains of Tennessee, you can find her at the beach with a good book, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, or enjoying movies with a big bowl of popcorn.
