DESCRIPTION:Attention all educators: We invite you to join us for our inaugural Teacher’s Night Out at Main Street Reads. Choose one of TWO special evenings\, either October 24th or November 7th and enjoy treats\, special signings\, publisher recommendations\, huge discounts and more! \nAll pre-K through 12 educators are invited. Whether you’re a teacher\, a community organizer who gets kids involved in volunteering\, a hard-working PTA volunteer\, a part-time tutor\, writing coach\, or the principal: Join us for an evening that celebrates you – the incredible teachers and librarians in our community! We’ll have snacks and beverages\, plus a bunch of goodies (including books!) to give away. \nOur wonderful booksellers will be on hand to recommend great new books for your classroom discussions and libraries and share the benefits we offer to teachers and our local schools\, including our Teacher of the Week program and our School Spirit Week fundraisers. \nWe’ll also provide reading and classroom recommendations from major publishers and encourage you to bring your book lists so we can stock up for your students. In addition\, we’ll have a couple of surprise author book signings AND you’ll receive a 20% off coupon to use for any personal shopping that evening. \nThis is a private event held after opening hours at the store.
