DESCRIPTION:We’ll be on hand with the books for the Timrod Library’s annual author series – next up – Lynn and Cele Seldon on March 5th and we can’t WAIT! \nThe event begins at 2 p.m. at the fellowship hall of Bethany United Methodist Church\, followed by an elegant reception at the Timrod Library that will include book sales and signing. \nLynn and Cele Seldon have spent more than thirty years as travel writers\, bringing their passion for travel to life through words and pictures. They are the co-authors of multiple travel books\, including 100 Things to Do in Charleston Before You Die\, and have also written hundreds of travel articles for regional and national publications. \nLynn’s latest novel\, Carolina’s Ring\, is a modern coming-of-age story about three childhood friends. The narrative follows the trio from the foothills of South Carolina to the campuses of the Virginia Military Institute and The Citadel\, then to the Global War on Terrorism and beyond. The Seldons live in Beaufort. \nTickets are $20 for members.
