We’re always excited to welcome author, actor and educator A.F. Winter to the stage. His latest book is the quirky Mr. Albert: The Story of an Ex-Person.

Mr. Albert, who happens to be dead (although his body for some reason has not gotten the memo), enjoys nothing more than getting plastered in seedy bars on the Jersey shore. In a moment of weakness, he saves a man, Santo Murphy, from committing suicide, as he’s about to hurl himself into the frigid Atlantic Ocean.

When Santo discovers Mr. Albert’s secret, he believes his savior must have a higher purpose than intoxication. Santo’s purpose becomes to find Mr. Albert’s purpose and he will not leave Albert’s side until he discovers it…

A.F. Winter has won the South Carolina Playwright’s Festival for his play, The Colliers. He has three novels in print including the wildly popular Man in the Pandemic, and four that are yet to be published. His work has appeared in numerous print and online magazines and he also has a new podcast!

Winter’s poems have been published in several anthologies and he performs as a featured poet and author in the South Carolina low country. He lives near Charleston, SC with his dog, Millie, and is overjoyed when one of his three exceptional daughters comes to visit.
